About me

~ Who am I? ~

It's me! Bit beardish, picture taken during Covid-19 pandemic.

This question – asked so often – suggests that there is actually a plausible answer. Almost as if our being were a fixed thing. People who ask this sort of question are typically struggling with their identity and are searching for a core sense of themselves. The irony is that the more you seek to identify who you are, the more fragile you are likely to feel about yourself. There may be an inverse correlation between the question being asked and the ease with which you experience your life. The emphasis shouldn’t be on discovering who you are (what is buried beneath) but on facilitating the emergence of what you’d like to experience.

With that said: Welcome to my virtual hideout!

Personal

My name is Michel Lisman and I was born in November of the year 1977. A memorable month it was:

  • San Fransisco elects Harvey Milk as City Supervisor. The first openly gay elected official in one of the largest US cities
  • The Bee Gees release the soundtrack to “Saterday Night Fever
  • TCP/IP succesfully connects the first 3 ARPANET nodes , eventually becomes the internet protocol (did I say it was a memorable month?)
  • Made-for-tv animated film The Hobbit premieres on NBC.

I’m interested in gaming, movies, series, photography, traveling, my girlfriend (if you’re reading this: no particular order!), good single malt whiskeys, music and I am a real tech junky. I do like cars & bikes as well, mostly fast ones..

I’m not driving my bike at the moment, but if I should return I’ll probably lean towards a real fun (& sun) bike, probably a V-twin again.

Well, you’ve reached the end of this page meaning you actually took an interest in reading this page! I salute you and encourage you to write something while you’re visiting!

  1. Hi Michel, good blog. I got stung by Avanset just this week. I purchased a subscription for PC through Avanset and a subscription through Apple for my MAC too. I then cancelled my subscription on my MAC which should end in 3 months time and they cancelled both subscriptions. Now I cannot load my VCE files.

I have tried to use your method as described here with “A+ VCE v5.2.2 and 7.x.x” but each time I attempt to load my VCE files I get a message in the app stating the VCE file is not compatible, did you encounter this at all please?

  2. Nice Blog! Found A+ VCE viewer last year when I was so frustrated by the crazy prices of Avast, glad to see you spread the word!

  3. Hey man just wanted to say thanks a million for the VCE work around info! I was pulling my hair out since my previous cracked one stopped working. You really saved my monitor from getting possibly punched. lol
